Celebrities are getting restless with regards to the fate of the 11,000 ABS-CBN employees who would be losing their jobs come July 31.
The government gave an assurance that the 11K workers will not go unemployed. However, it seems that it isn't the case.
Liza asked, "Ano na po ang nangyari?"
Maris Racal also tweeted, "I hope she knows we already lost a soul," referring to the death of Mavic Oducayen, a production manager in ABS-CBN, who suffered from a heart attack after finding out she is one of those who would lose her job.
Anne Curtis also was not able to contain it anymore and asked, "So paano na po? Ang nangyare?"
Karen Davila said, "There are 7 million filipinos who lost their jobs because of Covid. Saan naman po ilalagay ng pamahalaan ang 11,017 workers ng ABS-CBN? ABS-CBN workers didn't lose their jobs because of covid. Congress took it away from them by shutting the network down."

When the shut down of ABS-CBN was carried out, Regine Velasquez expressed strong words over it. She said that after everything, they will come back better and brighter.
After this, Kim Chiu became viral because of her "Bawal Lumabas." The singer-actress also expressed sympathy towards the younger actress.
