Willie Revillame recently lauded Michael V.’s courage to announce that he has tested positive for COVID-19.
KAMI learned that in a recent episode of his program "Wowowin-Tutok To Win," the TV host aired his get-well wishes to the comedian also known as Bitoy.
“Gusto ko lang i-get well soon at maka-recover kaagad, kaibigan natin, Michael V. Alam ko may pinagdadaanan ka ngayon. Alay namin sa'yo, tanging pagdadasal ay maka-recover ka agad,” Kuya Wil said.
It can be recalled that in a video uploaded on his official YouTube channel on July 20, Bitoy documented his experience being isolated until he found out that he is already a carrier of the deadly virus.
Kuya Wil likewise got impressed with Bitoy’s bravery to share about it to the public.
“Hanga ako sa'yo dahil sinabi mo 'yan. Lalo na sinabi niya sa Facebook niya na 'yun nga ho, naging positive siya ng COVID at hindi natin alam kung bakit. Kaya ho ganu'n katindi 'yang COVID na 'yan. Walang pinipili 'yan, even 'yung presidente ng ibang bansa, even 'yung kung sino mang nanunungkulan,” he said.
The Kapuso host furthermore said, "Get well soon pareng Michael, Mr. Michael V. Pinagdadasal ka namin, sana maka-recover ka agad para mayakap mo na 'yung mga anak mo at mahal mo sa buhay.”
Willie Revillame is a popular celebrity in the Philippines. He is now a contract artist of GMA-7 after staying for how many years in ABS-CBN. Recently, he gave away washable face masks so that people will not be apprehended by the authorities when they go out.
The TV host also gave an honest comment about the Kapamilya network amid the heavy issues that it is facing.
Willie also decided take a swipe at those individuals who post about expensive parties and celebrations on social media amid the novel coronavirus disease pandemic.
