Just when others are scrambling for a barrier to be installed on motorcycles, or just use a homemade barrier, a photo of a policeman driving a motorcycle, wearing a nutshell helmet, with a backrider who was not even wearing a helmet, caught the attention of netizens.

There was also no barrier installed and the woman was not even trying to hold onto one.

The photo was shared by FB user Bhong David and it immediately spread like wildfire on social media.

The motorcycle had no plate number and it didn't even have a temporary plate.

The government already required the installation of a barrier to allegedly prevent the spread of coronavirus, and that only couples are allowed to backride.

In the original post, David asked, "Ano masasabi kaya ng PNP riot?"

This isn't the first time that controversy surrounded the PNP. NCRPO Chief Gen. Debold Sinas became controversial when he had his birthday celebration, which he referred to as "mañanita" during the ECQ. More than 40 people gathered in one place at the time, which was supposedly prohibited.

President Rodrigo Duterte defended Sinas and company and stated that they will remain in their positions. Sinas even stated that there was nothing wrong with the celebration. In another incident, Sinas and around 20 officers evicted a family in Taguig, and a CCTV footage showed how they let themselves into the premises of the home by opening the gate on their own.

Gen. Debold Sinas is currently the NCRPO Chief. He continues to make headlines such as the most present issue confronting him regarding the Taguig family.
