Michael V gave an in-depth video interview with the GMA program “24 Oras” about his COVID-19 infection.
KAMI learned that Michael admitted to getting sad and facing great difficulties due to his illness.
“Actually, mahirap talaga. Malungkot talaga and 'di n'yo alam kung anong pagpapasaya 'yung naidulot n'yo sa buhay ko. Tsaka 'yung mga dasal n'yo, I think it's very effective,” Michael said.
He also opened up about what he’s currently doing to get better, revealing that he’s been taking hot lemon and ginger and making sure that he is physically active.
“Madalas din akong naglalakad kasi mahirap din daw 'yung kapag lagi kang nakahiga at palagi kang nakaupo.
"Basta be active pero hindi sobra to the point na papagurin mo 'yung sarili mo,” he explained.

Forunately, the comedian also shared that he is slowly and surely recovering from the illness.
“Mabilis pa rin akong mapagod although hindi naman ako nahihirapang huminga.
"'Yung pagod ang medyo mabilis. I am getting better. Hindi pa rin 100 percent pero we're getting there,” he revealed.
Michael V. is one of the most acclaimed male actors and comedians in the Philippines. In 2013, he won Best Comedy Actor at the prestigious PMPC Star Awards for Television.
He announced in his new vlog uploaded on July 20 that he has tested positive for the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
Bitoy is among the prominent celebrities like Iza Calzado and Christopher de Leon who tested positive for COVID-19. Hopefully, Michael V will fully recover sooner than later!
