Christine Bersola-Babao aired some fiery statements after hearing the next plans of some congressmen about ABS-CBN.
KAMI learned that a short video showing three lawmakers who voted against the media giant is now making the rounds in the online world.
In a Twitter post by Miguel Sevilla, House Representatives Mike Defensor, Jesus Remulla, and Deputy Speaker Rodante Marcoleta were heard talking about the said network.
“Ngayon, ang problema, yung mismong equipment kasi hindi kanila yung equipment, sa korporasyon pa ng ABS-CBN. Edi lease to own,” Defensor quipped.
"Yung titulo unahin natin... Dapat makuha natin kaagad yun... lahat ng improvements dun, pag-aari na ng gobyerno yun,” Marcoleta replied.
Christine immediately shared the video on her social media account, claiming that those solons who are laying out their alleged “takeover” plans on ABS-CBN are all “evils.”
It was also evident that the former news anchor could not take the words that were coming from the mouths of three congressmen who voted to deny the network another 25-year franchise.
“Mga demonyo!” she wrote.
“Nakakasuka kayo!” she also posted on social media.
Christine Bersola-Babao is a former employee of ABS-CBN. She is currently married to veteran Kapamilya broadcast-journalist Julius Babao.
A few days ago, it was Vice Ganda who threw shade at the 70 solons who voted “yes” to deny ABS-CBN a legislative franchise.
It was also revealed that the congressman father of Star Magic talent Enzo Pineda voted against the renewal of the franchise of the said network.
