A CCTV footage of NCRPO Chief Gen. Debold Sinas and armed police in camouflage uniform has gone viral. It showed Sinas' group charging up to a home in Taguig, where they shouted at siblings, one of whom was a PWD in a wheelchair, as they wanted to evict them from the property.
The footage, as shown by TV Patrol, courtesy of Arles Delos Santos, showed one police officer grabbing the cellphone of one of the siblings who was trying to take a video of the incident.
The siblings also showed a paper, signed by Sinas himself, as proof of the legality of their occupation of the property, which Sinas claimed otherwise.
At one point, when one of the siblings tried to get the document back, one of the officers made a move that resembled an attempt at a strike.
Here is the report from TV Patrol where the statements of the siblings on the incident were included.
NCRPO Chief Gen. Debold Sinas became controversial when he had his birthday celebration, which he referred to as "mañanita" during the ECQ. More than 40 people gathered in one place at the time, which was supposedly prohibited.
President Rodrigo Duterte defended Sinas and company and stated that they will remain in their positions. Sinas even stated that there was nothing wrong with the celebration.
Gen. Debold Sinas is currently the NCRPO Chief. He continues to make headlines such as the most present issue confronting him regarding the Taguig family.
