"Kadenang Ginto" star Francine Diaz has finally air her emotional thoughts on ABS-CBN’s decision to lay off of workers.

Earlier, the media giant said that it was forced to cease operations of some of its businesses after the Congress denied its bid for new 25-year franchise.

ABS-CBN said it was the "only way to ensure the continued employment" of the rest of its workers.

The 16-year-old actress then took to Instagram to refrain from being silent on the issue.

“Hindi ko alam saan at kung paano ako magsisimula, basta ang alam ko lang, nasasaktan ako para sa aking mga Kapamilya
Alam ko ang pakiramdam ng magutom, yung tipong iisipin mo saan kukuha nang pera para may maipakain ka sa pamilya mo, yung tipong wala pang umaga pero pinoproblema mo na kung saan kayo hahanap ng pambili ng pagkain nyo, alam ko ang pakiramdam dahil naghirap at nagutom ako.
Wala pong nagsabi na perpekto ang ABS CBN, kung may pagkukulang at pagkakamali ho ang kumpanya, bigyan nyo po kami ng pag kakataon na maiyos at maitama ang mga ito.
Hindi ko ho kaya na manahimik habang nakikita ko ang mga Kapamilya kong mawalan ng trabaho,nasasaktan at nalulungkot, hindi ko po ito ginagawa para sa aming mga artista lamang po, ginagawa ko po ito para sa 11,000+ employees ng ABS CBN.

ABS-CBN is considered as the leading broadcasting corporation in the Philippines. It is currently facing heavy issues with regards to its 25-year franchise. On May 5 this year, the said giant network officially signed off from television after serving the Filipinos for more than six decades.

Furthermore, on July 10, a total of 70 lawmakers voted to "deny” the franchise application of the media giant to continue its broadcast operations while only 11 congressmen stood up for the network.

The sports division of ABS-CBN also sadly announced on July 15 that Sports+Action is officially signing off from national television.
