In her lengthy online post, Anne began by sharing that her heart is breaking alongside her friends and colleagues.

"To my friends and colleagues at ABSCBN, I see your posts here on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter and my heart breaks along with you," she wrote.

The Kapamilya actress then said that she still cannot fathom the decision that was made regarding the franchise renewal of her home network.

"I still cannot fathom how those in power could let this happen... I mean how is allowing a company to shut down and people losing jobs they love, a solution to what already is a crazy time?

"How do they sleep at night knowing that because of their decision, people are now suffering from sadness, anxiety, panic and are just scared for what will happen next?"

She also apologized to the people who were affected by the issue, "I really don’t know what to say. I’m sorry that those who were in position to do the right thing chose to be heartless. I’m so sorry.

"I may not be there physically to stand with you, as some of you know I am not there and have a little one to look after.... but know with all my heart I stand with you and share your sadness.

"Love your Stephanie, Imang, Dyosa, Celine, Dyesebel and your crazy bunso Showtime host, Anne. Isang mahigpit na yakap."
