After a long silence, Angelica Panganiban finally found her voice, strength and courage, to speak out and air her feelings on the decision of Congress to strike down the franchise renewal bid of ABS-CBN.
In a series of Twitter posts, the actress appealed to Congress to treat the employees of ABS-CBN as humans. She also posed a question about how people can bear to laugh at fellow Filipinos who lost their source of livelihood.
She then reiterated that service to the country, to citizens, should be the priority but with what they have done, they prioritized their own interests.

She then challenged those who would like to discuss the matter to start talking and posted more tweets that defended her home network for so many years, along with employees who lost their livelihood.
When the shut down of ABS-CBN was carried out, Regine Velasquez expressed strong words over it. She said that after everything, they will come back better and brighter.
After this, Kim Chiu became viral because of her "Bawal Lumabas." The singer-actress also expressed sympathy towards the younger actress.
