Anne Curtis expressed on Instagram her reaction to the news that Congress has refused to renew the franchise of ABS-CBN, shutting down the network from broadcasting on television and radio.

A total of 70 members of the Congress rejected ABS-CBN’s franchise renewal while only 11 lawmakers voted in favor of renewing the franchise.

According to Anne, she is heartbroken and at a loss for words about what happened to the Kapamilya network.

However, she still thanked all of the people who supported and prayed for ABS-CBN.

“I am lost for words. My heart breaks for everyone that is affected by this.... from our bosses to all the employees and the loyal viewers of ABSCBN....
“It is indeed a very sad day. I know people won’t forget this...
“Maraming Salamat sa lahat ng sumuporta at nagdasal. I stay hopeful that somehow this isn’t the end... A big hug to my Kapamilya Family,” Anne posted.
