Max Collins has given birth to her baby boy yesterday, Monday, July 6, according to a report by Jannielyn Ann Bigtas for GMA News.

In an interview with the GMA program 24 Oras, Max said that her doctor has allowed her to give birth at home, although it has not yet been revealed if she pushed through with this plan.

According to the first-time mother, she preferred to give birth at home to avoid exposure to the COVID-19 virus and so that she can be sure that her husband, Pancho Magno, can be with her throughout the delivery of the baby.

Aside from being an actor, Pancho is also a nurse who has the ability to keep her safe during her delivery.

“Because I know that pagdating ko sa ospital, kapag wala akong kasama sa delivery room and knowing with the COVID-19 situation, I'll be so tense and anxious and I'm sure that mahihirapan ako.
"I'm just trying to educate myself on my options and on how to be very in tune of my body because pagdating ng araw ayoko mataranta, I don't want to feel anxious about my decision to give birth at home.
"If all else fails naman, we have a backup option. Just to me to the nearest hospital if I need a cesarean or extra help. My doula and my midwife, they're already in place," Max told 24 Oras.

Pancho Magno and Max Collins tied the knot on December 11, 2017 in front of their friends and family at the Marriott Hotel in Pasay City. The couple got engaged in May 2017. They have been a couple for four years already before their wedding.

The two have also worked together in TV projects such as "Encantadia," where Pancho played the character of Hitano while Max played Amihan, the sister of Reyna Mine-a.
