Dustin Borglin, an American backpacker, has captured the hearts of the Filipino online community after sharing his newfound life in the province of Cebu on social media.

In his social media account, Dustin Backpacks, KAMI learned that Dustin has been sharing various vlogs and videos together with the locals and has even helped raise funds for the families who have been helping him amid the pandemic and lockdown.

It can be worth noting that Dustin is among the tourists who have been stranded in the country following the lockdown that was imposed in the country back in March.

Following this news, Dustin was adopted and helped by the family of Raymund Adoptante.

Since then, Dustin has been uploading videos with Raymund and his family doing various things in the province together.

Dustin's friendship with Raymund and his family could easily be seen in the various vlogs he has been posting — from preparing and cooking lechon to making mango ice candy together and even preparing an American meal for Raymund's family.

Dustin's vlogs have gained support and love from the online community as well after it went viral on social media.
