Jobert Sucaldito, a former employee of ABS-CBN, was invited to speak before the Congress regarding the franchise renewal issue of the said media giant.
KAMI learned that the ex-broadcaster did not hesitate to take a swipe at Carlo Katigbak’s statement about the network’s concern for its workers.
He firmly disagreed when the chairman emeritus said that the Kapamilya network cares for its more than 11 thousand employees.
Jobert admitted to feeling sad whenever he hears ABS-CBN executive say that the lives of its employees matter to them more than anything else.
The fearless and serious statement of the former radio reporter was shared on Twitter by the House of Representatives.
“Nalulungkot ako lalo everytime I would hear Sir Carlo Katigbak saying that they are concerned about the people who will lose jobs kasi kawawa naman sila, walang makain,” he quipped.
“But what about us?” he added, pertaining to other former employees of ABS-CBN.
