Mayette Velasco decided to make a video diary for her husband, Cesar Velasco after the latter was diagnosed with the deadly coronavirus.

In the episode of Frontliners, a special online series under GMA-7's Brigada, KAMI learned that Cesar was intubated for 51 days and that he was only given a 30% chance of survival from the virus.

This prompted Mayette and her family to start recording a video diary for her husband who was a Clinical Support Worker at one of the hospitals in the United Kingdom.

According to Mayette, "Gumawa kami ng video diary ng mga anak ko kasi gusto namin pagbalik ni Cesar wala siyang ma-miss na araw."

In the video, it is revealed that Cesar was sent to the medical HDU or High Dependency Unit on April 7, 2020 and eventually had to be intubated for 51 days.

On May 15, 2020, a miracle occurred for Cesar and his family as his condition eventually became better.

He also shared a story when he was approached by a British nurse, "May nag-approach sa aking nurse, British siya. Sabi niya, 'you know, you made us believe again.' Sabi niya, 'you made us pray, you made us believe in God.'"

According to Cesar, he owes them his life.

Cesar was eventually discharged from the hospital on May 27.
