There are a lot of clothes inside your closet and definitely, half of them are items that you will no longer wear because they are worn out, they don't fit you anymore, they're not in style, or simply because you don't want to wear them again.
Well, just like me, I have a lot of sweaters inside my closet, and to be honest, they are taking so much space. In fact, I am wondering how they get to pile up just like that. Usually, my mom would recommend to put such stuff for a garage sale, but if you're up for a little dose of creativity via DIY, maybe this tutorial would work out real good for you.
The idea? Bring your old sweaters back to life by making them into cute beanies! Youtube style guru AndreasChoice demonstrates in the video below how to make a DIY beanie with definitely no sewing done in the process. Sounds cool? Of course!
For this DIY, you will need the following:
- Sweater (or any fabric of your choice)
- Glue gun and fabric glue sticks
- Sewing kit
The process is really easy. You just need to cut into the sweater right under the armpit, all the way across. Afterwards, cut down the seam of one side. Then, wrap the sweater around your head to see how big the hat should be and cut off the excess fabric. For step-by-step instructions, watch the video below:
