- Bryan told the former The Voice of the Philippines finalist that, “I feel you Daryl”
- Sweet then slammed Bryan and told him that what happened to him was not in any way similar to Daryl’s
John “Sweet” Lapus recently lambasted Bryan Termulo after the latter aired his unsolicited thoughts on Daryl Ong being banned from ABS-CBN.
It can be recalled that Daryl revealed that his conversation with Bugoy Drilon about the ABS-CBN franchise led to his and the latter's eventual ban from the Kapamilya network.
Bryan then questioned why there are netizens who are bashing the singer after he spoke up about his experience.
“Bakit yung iba nagagalit kay Daryl Ong? Nagsalita lang sya base sa experience nya. Di dahil attention seeker sya or what. Totoo lang naman sinabi nya… I feel you Daryl. Ganun talaga ang buhay. Be strong,” he wrote.
Bakit ganun? I stand with Daryl Ong. Kita mo sa video the way he explains. Maayos, mahinahon, nagiisip, kalmado at galing sa experience, mula sa puso…” he added.
Meanwhile, in a series of tweets, Sweet expressed that what happened to Bryan was not in any way similar to Daryl’s.
“Naku @bryantermulo iba kayo ng experience. Alam ko nangyari sayo. Promise. Kilala [mo] ako. Madami akong alam,” he said.
The comedian also tagged manager Perry P. Lansigan of PPL Entertainment Inc. and Chiqui whom he said can attest to his claim.
So baka yung mga nagagalit ay hindi naniniwala kay Daryl,” Sweet said as his answer to Bryan’s query on why many netizens are mad with Daryl who was only speaking up based on his own experience.
So may magrereact talaga.
In a previous article by KAMI, Jobert Sucaldito also reacted to Daryl’s statement about being banned from the Kapamilya network.
Daryl Ong is one of the most prominent R&B singers in the Philippines. He gained prominence after becoming a finalist in the second season of “The Voice of the Philippines.”
