Vivian Velez took to social media to post her reaction about a viral post of Lea Salonga that contains a strong curse word along with her complaint that it is difficult to love the Philippines right now.

KAMI learned that Vivian responded that Filipinos should love the country despite the flaws.

According to Vivian, there seems to be a lot of issues in the country right now because President Rodrigo Duterte is still in the process of dismantling the system supposedly ruled by his political rivals, oligarchs, drug lords, human rights activists, NPAs, and terrorists.

Vivian argued that all of the groups mentioned above are working against the president to stop positive changes in the country.

“Philippine history is pockmarked with painful legacies. When will you guys realize this rotten system Duterte seeks to dismantle would not just fade without giving a fight.
“The oligarchy, political opposition, the druglords and their protectors, human rights activists, NPAs, terrorists... all going against the president to stop change, not to mention the foreign intervention.
“We are on a correcting stage and unity is our lifejacket at this increasingly divisive time. I say, let's love our country flaws and all,” Vivian posted on Facebook.
