Another young soul from a K-pop group died. Kim Jung-hwan, known by the public as Yohan, died at the age of 28.
The news was confirmed by KJ Music Entertainment, the agency that handles Yohan.
He is a member of the K-pop boy group Top Secret's (TST). He first debuted as a member of the group NOM in 2015 but eventually joined TST.
KJ Music released a statement and requested media outlets to refrain from making speculations as to Yohan's cause of death.
His family did not wish to reveal the exact cause and this was respected by media outlets.
The last post that he made was "I want to travel."
In January, the group released a single called "Countdown."
In a previous KAMI report, Sulli, a K-pop star was found dead in her home. She was 25 when she died.
K-pop, or Korean pop, is a popular music genre, which originated in South Korea. It started out with a boy band H.O.T. way back in 1996. Eventually, it grew and is now one of the most popular music genres in the world.
