Raffy Tima, a prominent news reporter in the Kapuso network, recently reacted to the post of Karen Davila about the conviction of Rappler’s CEO Maria Ressa.
KAMI learned that Karen stated in her social media post that she is sympathizing with what happened to the online news site critical of the Duterte administration.
She made the said comment after Ressa and her colleague were convicted of cyber libel for a 2012 investigative report about businessman Wilfredo Keng.
“We’re one with you, Rappler!” the ABS-CBN news anchor said.
Raffy retweeted the post of Karen and he implied that he is also sympathizing not just with Rappler but with ABS-CBN that is currently off the air because of a shutdown order.
He stated that he stands with the two media firms in his “personal and little way.”
“And I, in my own personal and little way, am with you both,” the GMA-7 news reporter wrote.
In a previous article by KAMI, Karen issued an apology for Senator Manny Pacquiao over a past interview about “college degree.”
