President Rodrigo Duterte addressed the nation on Monday to decide regarding the community quarantine in Metro Manila and other areas in the country.

KAMI learned that President Duterte insisted that there will be no face-to-face classes until there is a vaccine discovered.

In a report by the Inquirer, the President said that the government will come up with ways for students to learn amid the pandemic. He said that he will allocate funds to buy radios for alternative learning.

“Ang radyo is hindi naman mahal. Baka kung magtagal ito talaga, sayang ang panahon. We might buy the radio at P300. Maibigay sa lahat ng barangay para yung mga mahirap may communication sila sa mga teacher nila,” Duterte said.

“Wala tayong pera ngayon. I will look for money to buy transistor radios. We will try to come up with something in the next few days. Maybe before the end of the week I would be able to look for the money,” he added.
