Frankie Pangilinan did not hesitate to mock Ben Tulfo after getting called “hija” on social media.
KAMI learned that the two prominent personalities recently exchanged tirades over the issue on women dressing up properly to avoid being victims of abuses.
The veteran broadcast-journalist slammed the daughter of Sharon Cuneta for her stand about the said matter and he even addressed her as “hija.”
Frankie stood firm with her opinion about “victim-blaming” and she even stated that calling her “hija” will never be an effective way to belittle her point.
She also changed her name on Twitter, seemingly mocking how she was addressed by the said journalist.
In an interview with bitagmedia.com, Ben thanked the young lady for recognizing and accepting his reminder.
He also explained that calling Frankie “hija” is just like a father trying to call the attention of his child.
“It looks like Frankie Pangilinan has addressed my reaction to her ‘tweets’ last night. Nagpapasalamat ako sa pagkilala at pagtanggap niya sa aking paalala,” he quipped.
“Calling her ‘hija’ was like a father calling a daughter. Sa paggamit niya ng ‘hija’ sa kanyang Twitter account, patuloy na mananatili ang gabay at anino ni Ben Tulfo sa kaniya,” he added.
