Frankie Pangilinan has called out TV and radio personality Ben Tulfo in a series of tweets after the latter responded to her statement about a police station's comment telling girls not to wear shorts to prevent séxual crimes from happening.

In her previous tweet, Frankie said that people should stop teaching girls how to dress and instead teach people not to rapé.

Her response caught the attention of Ben who said that ladies should be careful with how they dress up since it is "inviting the beast."

This eventually prompted Frankie to address Ben's statement and said no one should ever be deemed as an opportunity to be séxually assaulted just because of how they dress.

Furthermore, the singer-songwriter also included a screenshot of Ben's post calling her a "wannabe smart aleck" about her statement in a different tweet.

"The way he was braver on FB because he knows I'm not on there," she wrote.

Frankie also lambasted those who were threatening to rapé her, "Threatening to r*pe me or hoping i’m r*ped in order to somehow justify that victims are to blame — that’s the real brain cell gap right there lmaooo #HijaAko."

Aside from this, Frankie also changed her name on Twitter to 'hija' which Ben used in his tweet about the singer-songwriter.

Despite the issue, the singer-songwriter wrote an encouraging message to the people who were victims of abuse, "You are bigger than your abuse and much stronger than your abusers don’t let ANYBODY tell you different."

Frankie also added, "For those of you still finding the strength to speak out, I believe in you. I love you. there is so much power in your silent bravery."
