Karla Estrada recently likened her sons Daniel and JC Padilla to their great grandfather Jose Padilla Sr., a former governor of Bulacan.
In an Instagram post on June 10, the Magandang Buhay host said that Jose was a governor who held office from 1928 to 1931 and 1934 to 1937.
“Mga momshie eto naman ang Great Grandfather ng mga anak ko na sina Daniel Padilla at Jose Carlito padilla. Ang lolo Jose ni Daniel at ni Jose carlito ay naging GOBERNADOR NG BULACAN noong 1928-1931 at muli ay nahalal noong 1934-1937.”

Karla added that his two sons have probably inherited some traits of the late politician.
“Alam na natin saan nanggagaling ang pagiging makatao, maprinsipyo, matulungin at May puso sa kapwa si @supremo_dp (Daniel) at @sprakenheighten (JC). Ito ay nananalaytay sa dugo at katauhan ng kanilang mga ninuno na naipasa sa bawat henerasyon ng PAMILYA PADILLA.”
Aside from being a late governor, Jose was also an actor known by his screen name of Mario de Cordova.
