Annabelle Rama evidently lost her cool after watching the recent joint hearing about the controversial franchise renewal of ABS-CBN.
KAMI learned that the mother of Ruffa Gutierrez specifically commented on the fact that Gabby Lopez was asked by a lawmaker to recite the first line of “Panatang Makabayan.”
It can be remembered that House Deputy Speaker Rodante Marcoleta challenged the chairman emeritus of the Kapamilya network to recite the Philippine “Patriotic Oath” to finally put an end to allegiance issue.
Annabelle ended her 3-year Twitter hiatus just to air her frustration. She advised Congressmen to just shut up if they do not have important questions to ask.
She also claimed that the questioning of Marcoleta is just his “delaying tactic” because he wants to have a longer exposure on television.
In a separate tweet, the popular talent manager admitted that she did not understand the point of Marcoleta when he asked Lopez to recite the first line of “Panatang Makabayan.”
“Pwede ba lahat ng Congressman na walang alam sa itatanong tumahimik nalang or magtanong muna sa lawyer bago pumunta sa Congress. Nakakahiya at nakakabwisit manuod ng hearing…” she wrote.
“Ako isang pinoy na bisaya. Hindi ko alam ang sinasabi ni dong Makuleta. Panatang Makabayan bakit kailangan sa hearing yan?” she added.
In a previous article by KAMI, Lopez suddenly scratched his head and smirked after being asked to recite “Panatang Makabayan.”
