A prosthetics maker from Laguna, 50-year-old Rene Abelardo, has been working with prosthetics since his teenage years that he was able to create face masks with scary but totally cool look.
As per Coconuts Manila, Abelardo has been making prosthetics since he was 17 and has worked under art director Maurice Carvajal.
Some of the fantasy TV series that he has worked on include, Anne Curtis' "Kampanerang Kuba," "Wansapanataym" and "Marina."
His daughter, Marianne Abelardo, posted on her account a series of character masks that his father has been making.
"Bagong gimik namin ng tatay ko hahaha"
She further captioned it as "character mask, puwede mag pa customize."
Thereafter, the post was flooded with inquiries regarding the masks, asking them how much each piece cost.
