Beauty Queen Ariella Arida feels at home in Wowowin and is happy for her new stint as a TV host, together with Willie Revillame.
A week after her first day in the game show, Arida expressed her joy in being chosen to be a part of the program and for immediately feeling at home together with the other hosts.
“Hindi nila pina-feel sa akin na parang iba ako kaya masaya. Syempre bago lang ako tapos medyo mahihiya ka pa pero wala, hindi ko na-feel na ganun. Tinutulungan nila ako. Inaalalayan nila ako kung anong puwedeng mangyari,” Arida said in an exclusive interview with GMA Network.com.
“Kapag kasi may ganung working environment, ma-i-inspire kang pumasok, magtrabaho ‘tsaka masaya. Masaya talaga ‘yung show,” she added.
Arida recalled that she was happy to be given an opportunity to continue her advocacy as a beauty queen in terms of helping other people.
“Parang feeling ko ‘yun ‘yung legacy ng Binibini[ng Pilipinas], to help, to inspire. At the same time, nakikita din ng tao kung sino ka [sa pag-host sa programa],” she said.
“May puso kasi ‘yung show, masayang environment. Kahit napapanood ko palang ganun na kasi impression ko sa show kaya sobrang excited ako nung tinawagan ako about it, kung pwede ako, kung gusto ko. Syempre, hindi na ako nag-isip,” she added.
She also said that her family was happy with this opportunity for her. She relayed that her family is tuned-in to the show every single time and that they already treat is a hobby even before it started airing in the Kapuso Network.
“Syempre tuwang-tuwa sila, lalo na ‘yung lola ko kasi iba talaga ‘yung karisma ni Willie sa lahat,” she said.
At the start of the month, the Kapuso Network announced a short break for Wowowin.
Based on an Instagram post by kapusoprgirl, GMA Corporate Communications Vice-President Angela Javier-Cruz relayed the news and pointed out that Revillame welcomed the “brief vacation” and is excited to prepare for the show’s anniversary when it returns on air.
“Fans and supporters can look forward to bigger prizes, more fun games and excitement from Wowowin,” the statement added.
During the break, the Wowowin studio facilities were temporarily used for the election coverage of the Kapuso network.
