Lisa of the prominent Korean girl group “BLACKPINK” has been reportedly scammed by a former manager at a K-pop company.
KAMI learned that a total of one billion won, or over 41 million pesos, has been taken from the gorgeous celebrity.
The said report came from several Korean news sites, which also disclosed that the ex-manager took advantage of his connections just to scam Lisa.
He allegedly asked money from the Thai celebrity and offered to help looking into a real estate for her.
However, the former manager just used all the money for gambling.
YG Entertainment has issued an apology because of what happened, saying that part of the money was reimbursed already.
“We bow our heads and apologize for causing concern to the fans who love our artist. We are embarrassed by the misconduct of ‘A’ and we are feeling responsibly for the management and supervision,” the K-pop firm said.
“We are taking preventive measures so that this does not happen again,” it added.
