Bea Alonzo has reached another milestone with regards to her charity drive called “I Am Hope.”
KAMI learned that the gorgeous actress was able to raise a total of 9 million pesos for healthcare workers and communities affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Through a video on Instagram, the “One More Chance” star expressed gratitude to those who contributed to the huge success of the project.
She also proudly introduced her partners in the said fundraiser — Vhong Navarro, Rina Navarro, Tricia Canilao, and May Militante.
The amount that they have collected so far, which is 9,072,267 pesos, have benefited 44 medical facilities and 36 communities already.
“Gusto rin namin talaga mag pasalamat sa lahat ng nag donate din via GCcash, Paypal and Metrobank. Maraming salamat sa inyo…” she quipped.
“This is just the beginning. We’re on our second wave of helping the community and it is not limited to just the frontliners lang. It’s no longer just about them,” she added.
