A frontliner who was about to be married to his fiancee, Pearl Arroyo, in June met a tragic road accident while he was on his way home from a shift.
KAMI learned that the victim, Henry Jun Jardio, was a radiologic technologist, who was driving his motorcycle along Donato Pison Avenue in Mandurriao, when he was hit by a car driven by an Indian national, whom Arroyo tagged as a drunk driver.
As per ABS-CBN's report, the suspect, despite having hit Jardio didn't stop until he hit another motorcycle where three persons, all injured, were riding.

Jardio's fiancee revealed that they were supposed to get married in June. She said that her boyfriend would have still been alive were it not for the lifting of the liquor ban in the city.
In a previous KAMI report, a 15-year-old died allegedly because of too much online gaming. The lad would even fix a cup of coffee at 3 a.m. just to keep himself awake. He ultimately suffered from a ruptured vein in the brain.
Every year, the Philippines sees various causes of death. Some are caused by accidents, while others are health-related.
