A man who allegedly tweeted death threats to Angel Locsin, Kim Chiu and Coco Martin has surrendered on Friday, May 22, to the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) in Southeastern Mindanao.
In a report by ABS-CBN News, a 25-year-old diver named Nhiel Jhon Abellanosa personally went to NBI in Samal, Davao del Norte to surrender after Angel exposed about his alleged threat on social media.
However, Nhiel denied that he was the one behind the threat about the P200 million bounty being offered to anyone who would kill the said Kapamilya artists and blow up the ABS-CBN's headquarters.
According to ANC’s post, Nhiel also said that he does not have a Twitter account.

In can be recalled that Angel earlier posted on her Instagram account a screenshot of Nhiel’s purported tweet that said, “Isa ka ba sa mga supporter ni Pangulong Duterte at GMA? Pwes, I will give you 200-million sa sinumang mga Duterte at GMA supporters ang makapatay kina Kim Chiu, Coco Martin at Angel Locsin. Makakasama nyo ang NPA para pasabugin ang ABS-CBN Compound.”
In a previous report by KAMI, Angel decided not to take legal actions against the netizen, saying that she does not want to add burden on someone’s life amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Angel Locsin is a popular showbiz personality and philanthropist in the Philippines. She is a multi-awarded Filipina actress who already starred in many blockbuster movies including “Unofficially Yours” and “One More Try". She confirmed her engagement to Neil Arce in June 2019.
