Francis Leo Marcos, a businessman and YouTube sensation in the Philippines, is now facing more criminal charges aside from supposed violation of the optometry law.
KAMI learned that the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) has filed 3 more cases against the said online personality after his arrest on Tuesday.
According to Vic Lorenzo, the chief of NBI Cybercrime Division, Marcos violated the anti-alias law and the passport law.
He has been allegedly using two names – Norman Mangusin and Francis Leo Marcos. He is also accused of having a passport under his alias.
“What is the truth? Because if you falsified documents in procuring passport under a different name, that is not allowed,” Lorenzo quipped in Filipino.
As reported by The Philippine Star (authored by Kristine Joy Patag), the NBI chief also mentioned that an inciting to sedition complaint has been filed against Francis.
The agency claimed that it was able to see some “elements” of the said crime in one of the uploaded videos of the online personality.
In a previous article by KAMI, Raffy Tulfo got really frank about the controversial arrest of the said YouTube sensation.
Francis Leo Marcos is known for his charitable acts. He has gained a lot of supporters because of his willingness to help other people, especially those who are in need.
