GMA-7 host uses Kim Chiu’s viral ‘classroom’ statement to slam NCRPO chief

- Arnold Clavio funnily used the viral “classroom” statement of Kim Chiu in one of his posts

- He used it to lambast NCRPO Chief Major General Debold Sinas over its controversial birthday bash

- The post of the said news anchor immediately caught the attention of many netizens

A prominent Kapuso host cleverly used the viral “sa classroom may batas” statement of Kim Chiu to lambast NCRPO Chief Major General Debold Sinas.

KAMI learned that Arnold Clavio did not like the recent surprise birthday bash of the said police official amid the enhanced community quarantine.

The event became controversial on social media since many people claimed that the top-rank cop and his guests violated quarantine protocols.

On Instagram, the GMA-7 news anchor uploaded a funny artcard that was inspired by the much-talked-about statement of Kim.

He emphasized that mass gatherings, including birthday parties, are included in the prohibited events now that there is COVID-19 pandemic.

“Sa ilalim ng ECQ may batas, bawal mag-birthday party, oh bawal ang birthday party,” Arnold wrote.

“Pero pag sinabi, pag nag-comply ka na bawal ang public gatherings at social distancing pero may ginawa ka sa pinagbabawal nila. Inayos mo ‘yong rules ng ECQ niyo at sinabmit mo ulit sa hepe mo ay pwede na pala ang mañanita,” he added.

Arnold Clavio is a veteran news anchor and morning show host in the Kapuso network. He is often called as “Igan” by his colleagues and supporters. Aside from hosting, he writes a column for the prominent tabloid newspaper “Abante.”
