Indian university page spammed by pro-Duterte users after mistaking it as anti-DDS campaign platform

- An Indian university page, DDS Confessions, was spammed incessantly by alleged pro-Duterte supporters after the latter mistook it as a page that campaigns against the President

- This was made known after the administrator of the page called out the users whom he referred to as "Chinese/Philippino weirdos"

- Users also mass reported the DDS Confessions page, as well as its Twitter account, and now both are unavailable

- Eventually, the admin of DDS Confessions was led to research about President Duterte and have listed a host of insights on the school's page

Administrators of an Indian university Facebook page, DDS Confessions, were bombarded with messages from reportedly pro-Duterte supporters after they mistook the page as an anti-Duterte campaign page.

KAMI learned that the page had the same name as the page run by Duterte's supporters.

The Indian page was mass reported by Duterte supporters and it has now become unavailable.

Administrators of the page were quick to clarify and note that the page is not a political page.

It addressed the supporters with a clear message:

In another post, the administrator also said that the spamming had led him to research the president and that he was horrified at what he found out.

In a previous report by KAMI, DDS fired back at Director Erik Matti for his tweet against voters of Duterte.
