A salesman in Agusan del Norte was arrested after he made a post on social media, which was against Sen. Bong Go and also Pres. Rodrigo Duterte.
KAMI learned that Reynaldo Ocullo made a comment which according to authorities was libelous. The comment stated, "Alam na pattern. Mosalida si Go konuhay siya mohangyo sa buang nga Pangulo. Digong gago. Buang si Digong."
As per Philnews, the comment was translated as:
"We know the pattern. Go will try to make a scripted request to crazy Digong. Digong is stupid. Digong is crazy."
Mugshots of the 41-year-old were released and it showed that he was charged for a violation of Republic Act 10175, " Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012."
Brig. Gen. Joselito Esquivell Jr., regional police chief of Caraga said that he reminds social media users to think before posting:
"I remind our social media users to think thrice before posting on any social media platform. Be responsible netizens. We do enjoy the blessings of democracy but never go beyond from what you think is right without minding you violate the provisions of the law."
