Jennylyn Mercado took to social media to lecture netizens to stop making fun of others' misfortune.
KAMI learned that on her official Facebook page, the Kapuso actress reminded everyone to respect each other which made a lot of her followers agree.
“With all the negativity that is happening in social media, let us all remember to respect each other. All our opinions are valid. Just because you disagree with the opinion of others, doesn’t give you the right to belittle or make fun of anyone,” Jennylyn said.
She also added, “Our enemy is not each other, but the virus.”
However, this post from the actress received a negative comment from a netizen.
"Ya the virus not the drama of abs cbn artista. Ampalaya ako bakit ba," the basher wrote in the comment section.
The mean comment prompted Jennylyn to reply, “Pasensya na po. But you are missing the point. What if you put yourself in their position?
In a separate post, the actress shared a screenshot of the basher’s comment and her response where she captioned, “People who comment like this are not welcome in this page.”
No one has any right to be mean to any other human being. Nakalimutan na ba natin maging makatao?”
