Robin Padilla was accused by his sibling BB Gandanghari of not caring about her and being neglectful towards her.
BB said that she got emotionally hurt when none of her family members, including Robin, called her after she became a victim of a death hoax online.
In a new social media video, Robin decided to respond to BB’s accusation that he does not care about her.
Robin assured his sibling, formerly known as Rustom Padilla, that he and the rest of the family truly love her.
The action star explained that they were not able to call her because of the family problems they experienced this year, including Robin’s severe back injury and their mother getting injured as well.
“BB, tigilan mo na iyang katatampo.
"Mahal ka namin. Marami lang nangyari sa pamilya natin nang pumasok ang 2020.
"Ako, nagkaroon ako ng matinding injury sa likod ko. Matagal din akong nahimlay... Isang buwan din akong nahimlay sa ospital. Dun na ako nag-New Year. Lumabas ako, parang last week na ng January.
"Tapos si Mama Eva naman, nadulas. Si Mama naman ang na-bedridden ng dalawang buwan. Napakadami pong nangyari sa 2020,” he explained.
Robin remained positive despite their quarrel, saying that there is hope for a reconciliation in the future.
"Pero lahat naman po ‘yan, sabi nga nila, pagkatapos daw po ng bagyo, sabi ng iba, there’s a rainbow,” the actor said.
