Kathryn Bernardo has finally decided to speak up regarding the much-talked-about shutdown of ABS-CBN.
KAMI learned that the award-winning actress also revealed the reason why she kept her silence for over a week about the controversial issue.
The “La Luna Sangre” star initially stated that she got really traumatized the last time she meddled in the world of politics.
She admitted to receiving a lot of negative comments because of her political stand. Even her family received heavy backlash on social media.
However, Kathryn said that she is now breaking her silence because she feels that she has to do something for ABS-CBN even though it is not assured that she will be heard.
She even urged “those in power” to hear the voices of the 11 thousand employees of the media giant and to not make the inequality in the country worse.
