Teacher who threatened Pres. Duterte finally explains reason behind controversial P50M tweet

- The 25-year-old teacher who threatened Pres. Rodrigo Duterte finally explains the reason why he tweeted about getting the President killed

- He said that he just wanted to be noticed and to gain more followers and retweets because he has been wondering why others would gain a lot of retweets

- Ronnel Mas also explained that he did not have P50 million to give as a reward and he further clarified that he did not want to have the President killed

- Later in the interview, the teacher also revealed that the subject he was teaching 'Araling Panlipunan'

Ronnel Mas, the 25-year-old teacher from Zambales, who was arrested for posting a threat against the life of the President on Twitter finally aired his side of the story.

During an interview with ABS-CBN, the teacher was asked why he thought of posting the controversial tweet where he said he will reward the person who could kill the President with P50 million.

KAMI learned that, as per Ronnie, he wanted to be noticed, "para magpapansin."

He said that he was wondering why other people have a lot of retweets and he does not.

When the interviewer asked if he wanted to gain fame, he elaborated on it and said, "magpapansin po."

He was eventually asked what subject he was teaching, and he revealed that he teaches 'Araling Panlipunan. '
