Fil-Am Francisco Martin enters top 7 of ‘American Idol’

Francisco Martin, a young Filipino-American singer, has successfully entered the top 7 of the prestigious singing competition, “American Idol.”

KAMI learned of the said information when the show’s host disclosed on Sunday the results of the voting that was conducted in America.

Aside from the 19-year-old boy, the other contestants who advanced to the top 7 were Arthur Gunn, Dillon James, Jonny West, Julia Gargano, Louis Knight, and Just Sam.

Because of Francisco’s recent achievement, he is already one step closer to the finals of the said singing competition.

After the announcement, each of the members of the top 7 performed two songs while staying at home.

One of the songs that the Fil-Am singer sang during that night was “You’ll Be in My Heart,” an official soundtrack of the film “Tarzan.”

“In other words, when you’re doing that, that was just giving us the confidence and the enjoyment. And by the way, we as an audience, we love to see that kind of emotion,” Lionel Richie, one of the judges, commented.
