Lolit Solis took to social media to share her thoughts on a current controversy in San Juan City.
KAMI learned that Solis defended former San Juan Mayor Jinggoy Estrada after he got arrested for violating certain COVID-19 quarantine protocols.
According to current San Juan Mayor Francis Zamora, Estrada did not have a permit to donate fish to the public and he did not practice social distancing and sanitary provisions.
Despite these reasons, Solis argued that Estrada could have been given a pass since he was just trying to help the poor amid the pandemic.
Solis said that she hopes that the arrest was not politically motivated since the rolling store of Estrada’s daughter, Janella Estrada, was also stopped due to not having a permit.
However, Zamora has already stated that Ms. Estrada’s Rolling Botika was allowed to operate after she got a permit.
Sa panahon ngayon , lahat ng tulong kailangan ng tao , give it to them.
“Heto at meron gusto magtinda ng half price food items, heto at meron pang ulam na binibigay , let it be. Cool lang,” Solis posted on Instagram.
KAMI previously reported that Estrada cursed at Mayor Zamora in another video.
Francis Zamora is one of the new and young mayors in Metro Manila who have impressed a lot of Filipinos. The other mayors include Manila Mayor Isko Moreno and Pasig Mayor Vico Sotto, both of them well known for being hands-on and honest in their public service.
