- The number of COVID-19 cases in the Philippines continues to rise
- As of April 30, the Department of Health has recorded 276 new confirmed cases
- The total number of confirmed cases has now climbed to 8,488
- Meanwhile, there are 20 more patients who recovered from the dreadful disease
The Department of Health (DOH) announced on April 30 that there are 276 new confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus disease in the Philippines.
KAMI learned that the total number of COVID-19 cases in the country has climbed to 8,488 already.
The said number of new cases was higher than the 254 recorded yesterday and 181 on April 28.
Meanwhile, 20 more patients have recovered from the disease and 10 did not survive.
The total number of recoveries is now 1,043 while the overall fatalities are now 568.
The enhanced community quarantine will be lifted in some areas already but the authorities continue to remind the public to still follow protocols.
