The Philippines has 198 new confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus disease on April 27, according to the Department of Health (DOH).
KAMI learned that the total number of COVID-19 cases in the country has climbed to 7,777 already.
Based on the statistics, the new recorded cases were lower than the 285 cases that were tallied on Sunday.
Meanwhile, the total number of recoveries is now at 932 after the health department announced that 70 more patients have recovered.
There are also 10 deaths today, bringing the total number to 511.
