The number of patients who have recovered from the novel coronavirus disease in the Philippines is now almost 1 thousand.
KAMI learned that there are 70 new recoveries recorded today, April 27.
It is the highest number of recoveries tallied by the Department of Health (DOH) so far.
On Sunday, the country also had 70 new recoveries, the highest in ten days.
When it comes to fatalities, the health department announced that 10 more patients have succumbed to the disease.
The total number of COVID-related deaths in the Philippines is now at 511.
