New COVID-19 deaths in the Philippines fall to single digits

- The Philippines continues to experience the alarming effect of the novel coronavirus disease

- However, unlike the previous days, it recorded a low number of fatalities on April 26

- The number of new recorded deaths has fallen to single digits already

- Based on the statistics, it is the lowest number since April 9

The number of fatalities due to the novel coronavirus disease in the Philippines has now fallen to single digits.

KAMI learned that the said information was announced by the Department of Health (DOH) through a social media post on April 26.

There are 7 patients who passed away today because of the said virus, bringing the total number to 501.

It is evidently lower than the 17 and 15 deaths recorded in the country on Saturday and Friday, respectively.

The last time the country tallied a single-digit figure in terms of fatalities was on April 22 at 9.
