67-year-old lady gets emotional before leaving the hospital after battling COVID-19

In Lapu Lapu City, Elizabeth Taghoy, a 67-year old woman, cried as she left the Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center.

KAMI learned that the 67-year old was sent off by the medical staff of the local hospital after her battle with the coronavirus.

In The Freeman's online post, Elizabeth has been battling COVID-19 for 18 days after being discharged on Thursday, April 24.

Furthermore, they also provided a video of the hospital workers cheering as they send her off after she recovered from the virus.

In the video, the medical workers could be heard congratulating the woman as The Beatles' Here Comes The Sun plays in the background.

The said photos and video garnered various reactions and comments from netizens on social media after its posting.

As reported earlier by KAMI, the hospital bill of one of the COVID-19 patients has recently been shared to the public. Many were stunned to see that the bill reached a whopping amount of PHP 3.8M. The son of the patient also disclosed how much the medicines for the treatment cost.
