Shamcey Supsup recently shared on social media a photo of her report card which wowed many netizens because of her high marks.
In the caption, the Filipina beauty queen revealed that she used to be really conscious of her grades when she was still a student.
“I grew up to be really "grade conscious" or "GC" for short. It didn't matter if I really learned anything as long as I get the grade, I was fine,” she wrote on Instagram.
She also shared her realization in life – that grades are not everything.
“But now, I am more than certain that grades are not everything. Grades should be a byproduct of learning.”
“And what you do with that knowledge is MUCH more important than what is on your report card,” she added.
KAMI learned that Shamcey, the National Director for Miss Universe Philippines Organization, studied at the University of the Philippines Diliman and graduated as magna cumlaude in Architecture.
She also jested, “On a serious note though: Sino ba tong Prof. ko sa History of Architecture? Panira ng transcript eh!”
Her post then gained reactions from netizen who admired her for having beauty and brains:

Shamcey Supsup, or Shamcey Gurrea Supsup-Lee in real life, is a Filipino model, architect and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Binibining Pilipinas 2011 and represented the Philippines at the 60th Miss Universe pageant finishing in third runner-up.
