Viral: Coron PNP Chief and businessman got into heated argument at checkpoint over social distancing violation

A heated argument between Coron PNP Chief Major Thirz Starky Timbancaya and a businessman took place at a checkpoint in Palawan.

The businessman was violating the social distancing rule as he had an excess number of passengers on his vehicle.

The unnamed businessman kept on arguing and raising his voice, then asked one of his passengers to alight from the vehicle.

Major Timbancaya also stood his ground, citing that there was a clear violation, and even though they were transporting medicines, such must not be used to circumvent the social distancing rule.

The video, uploaded in Brigada News Davao, courtesy of Ratzkie Kilogram, has gotten more than 50,000 views as of this writing.
