Bituin Escalante may have found a way to beat closed salons during the quarantine period.

In an Instagram post, the singer posted her new look which surprised many of her fans.

She is now sporting a shaved head, and she described it in the caption as "low maintenance."

Many of her fans loved her look and her post has gotten more than a thousand likes since she posted it.

There were commenters also who praised her confidence and beauty.

Some even said that they wanted to follow suit, after all, it might just be the perfect cut for the quarantine.

Bituin Escalante is a Filipina singer, born in 1977. She rose to fame during the 2000 Metropop Song Festival. She interpreted the song "Paano Na" in the said festival.

In a previous report by KAMI, the government faced problems when they imposed the initial community quarantine, which was elevated into the now ongoing enhanced community quarantine. It also suspended transportation causing massive problems with commuters.

The coronavirus outbreak started out in Wuhan, Hubei Province of China. Scientists believed that the virus came from an animal at one of Wuhan's wet markets. At present, the Philippines is under a state of calamity while the entire Luzon is under an enhanced community quarantine.
