- A group of relief volunteers used horses to deliver goods to those who are in need
- The group borrowed four Thoroughbred horses from the Victoria Equestrian Center on April 19
- According to one of the volunteers, due to the ECQ, they were not allowed to ride vehicles, which was why they resorted to horses
- He said that aside from avoiding pollution, it also helped entertain people
When there's no car available to deliver relief goods, horses come to the rescue.
A group of relief volunteers rode on horses to deliver the goods in Victoria, Tarlac because there were no cars around.
One of the volunteers, Breih Pascua, posted their "makalumang" relief distribution.
He mentioned the names of the four horses, which they borrowed from the Victoria Equestrian Center. They were Ares, Athena, Bella and Victoria.
As per Breih's post, they distributed the veggies and goods that they were able to gather for one week.
They are now planning to raise funds again, this time around, to give support and target the "nagbabakal bote," labandera, pedicab drivers and the like.
Breih also thanked those who helped and supported their cause.
Here's his full post:

In a previous report by KAMI, the government faced problems when they imposed the initial community quarantine, which was elevated into the now ongoing enhanced community quarantine. It also suspended transportation causing massive problems with commuters.
The coronavirus outbreak started out in Wuhan, Hubei Province of China. Scientists believed that the virus came from an animal at one of Wuhan's wet markets. At present, the Philippines is under a state of calamity while the entire Luzon is under an enhanced community quarantine.
