Senator Vicente “Tito” Sotto III took to social media to share his negative opinion on the people who post about their contributions and donations amid the COVID-19 crisis.

According to Sotto, helping the needy is an admirable thing to do but it becomes egotistical if the person who provided the help posts about it online.

His viral post came at a time when many celebrities post their donations and contributions on their social media accounts.

“If you want to feed the Hungry, then feed the Hungry. But the moment you post it on Social Media, you are just feeding your EGO!

“My amended version from John Wooden,” Sotto posted on Instagram.

A famous celebrity, Joey de Leon, reacted to Sotto’s negative post about people who post online about helping others.

Based on his reaction, Joey seems to agree with his “Eat Bulaga” co-host’s view on the matter.

“Aray! Ang daming sapol,” the comedian commented.
